Dew point meters and transmitters from Vasthi instruments are trusted by professionals around the world for their faultless measurement capabilities. Offering a wide variety of measurement tools like an online dew point meter, portable dew point meter, and dew point transmitter with an extensive range of options, Vasthi Instruments is an ideal choice for every industrial dew point measurement prerequisite. With an easy-to-use interface and robust design, our trace moisture dew point meters with a measuring range of (-60°C to +30°C),( -40°C to +30°C) &(- 80°C to +30°C) are incredibly reliable and are suitable for accurate and faultless monitoring. Our engineers at Vasthi Instruments have designed quintessential dew point meters that flawlessly measure relative humidity and dew point temperatures with +/- 1% accuracy. Our dew point meters comply with parameters set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Dew point meters from Vasthi Instruments are suitable for the following gas types:

  •  Air / Compressed air
  •  Carbon dioxide (CO2)
  •  Methane (CH4)
  •  Nitrogen (N2)
  •  Oxygen (O2)
  •  Natural gas
  •  Argon (Ar)
  •  Hydrogen (H2)
  •  Other gases on demand

Dew point meters from Vashi Instruments offer:

  •  Measurement of very low dew points down to (-100°C)
  • Ensures long-term stability as a result of Internal automatic calibration technology.
  •  IP 65 housing that grants reliable protection in extreme industrial conditions
  •  Superfast response times.
  •  Installation in the dryer by means of G 1/4" thread or measurements as per user requirement
  •  High accuracy of ± 1°C
  •  On-site calibration and testing with Vasthi control and calibration set

Sampling System:

A wide range of bespoke and standard sampling conditioning systems are available, depending on the process conditions. Filters, pumps, and regulators can be incorporated to deliver the sample in an accurate condition. Bypass flow systems enable longer distances from the process to the analyzer to be achieved. Our engineers at Vasthi Instruments are always ready to recommend the right system for you on receipt of the full gas stream specification.

What is the dew point temperature?

Dew point temperature is simply the temperature at which water vapor in the air mass condenses into a liquid state, hence creating dew drops in the compressed chambers. The dew point temperature is a unit system for measuring the moisture (PPM) level present in a gas. Dew point temperatures may vary depending on the barometric pressure in the compressor outlets. In other words, a dew point is a temperature at which water vapor turns into water droplets. thus causing damage to the equipment. Dew points can vary between ambient temperatures to - 80°C (- 112°F) depending on specialized applications.

What is the Pressure Dew Point?

The dew point temperature of air or gases at a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure can be termed as pressure dew point (PDP). The pressure dew point depends on the final compression pressure in the chamber. In case of a declining pressure, the pressure dew point drops. Pressure dew point is significant for compressed air only.

Why dew point measurement is essential?

Temperatures in compressed air chambers can often rise up to 148°C (300°F). If proper cooling procedures are not implemented, excessive temperatures can damage equipment, compromise the product, and even become hazardous for employees. Maintaining a predisposed temperature in pressurized chambers is highly important to achieve the best output. Dew point measurements play a vital role in the safe operation of devices and systems. Failing to maintain an optimal dew point results in malfunction of control instruments, inconsistent operation of air valves and cylinders in the systems, and often increases wear and maintenance of pneumatic devices. Dew point measurement is a significant factor in HVAC (Heating, Venting, Air conditioning). It is a major factor in determining possible deterioration in metals, and in various chemical manufacturing operations. Using a dew point transmitter for continuous monitoring of dew temperature is recommended. Since dew points play a crucial role in a vast number of processes, precise dew point measurement tools have become a primary utility in everyday industrial functions.
